1938 Riley TT Sprite "Racing Serie" 1500cc racing history

This 1938 Riley TT Sprite is a rare model, reliable, powerful and competitive. The driving position is comfortable, even for taller drivers, the road holding is excellent on the Dunlop racing wheels with Blockley tyres. Our TT Sprite 'Racing series' offers a clear and tasty history. The 1500 cc Riley engine has been carefully rebuilt with high compression pistons and balanced flywheel and crankshaft.

The valves are made of modern steel and the the bearings have also been changed, so too 2 large SU carbs. The exhaust has been created by the race team that used to race this car. The radiator has been fitted with an electric fan which allows the car to now travel long distances. The four speed + reverse gearbox is Armstrong Siddeley pre-selector rebuilt as new.
Aluminium body, and the pointed lightened rear end is removable for access to the differential.
The automobile is splendid in the 'Rosso Corsa' livery and her patina irresistibly marks her history. TT Sprite papers, registered TR-TT 61. Can be viewed in our showrooms.
