1934 Austin 7 Nippy monoposto racing |

This 1937 Racing A7 Nippy is one specially built by Don Rawson, destined for racing and historic events this Austin 7 offers high performance and excellent road-holding, both on the race track or the road.
The chassis number is 1914R7. The A7 is propelled by a 747cc 4 cylinder 26kw engine with a 4 speed gearbox. The electrical system has been sorted and uprated to 12v.
The papers are German and although a single seater racing A7 this car is road legal. |

1934 SINGER NINE Le Mans. Eligible Le Mans Classic event |

This 1934 Singer Nine Le Mans is rare in France, even though this Marque is becoming extremely popular throughout the country thanks to, amongst others, the french Singer Club and a handful of keen historic racers.
This is a 4 seater Nine Le Mans, a fine and elegant car, both quick and interesting. 1100cc engine, new clutch, twin fuel circuit with new petrol pump, new windscreen and wind cutter, battery cut-off switch.

The years from 1933 to 1939 were marked by numerous sporting successes enjoyed by the Singer Nine. After her excellent results in the Le Mans 24 hour race, the model was named the Le Mans. One of the best known drivers in the paddock was Jacques Savoye who imported Singers to France from 1934. He won the 1100cc class in the 1938 Le Mans 24 hour race.
This Singer 9 competed in the 2006 Classic Le Mans race.

1925 Alvis Mac-Arthur. |

MacArthur Racing Alvis 12/50, original and very quick. Tasty history with a very complete dossier including photos of the car from the 30's, 40's and 50's etc. Newspaper articles and a complete manual.
Mac-Arthur, a pilot, won many races at the wheel of this Alvis. He sold it as a road car to Alan GRIFFIN in the States who then reconverted it to it's race spec.

The previous owner, Bran Maile, a talented driver brought the car to the UK then sold it to GROC Racing run by Geoff O'Connel, who spent over 4 years passionately rebuilding her.
ENGINE. 4 cyl. cast iron head, aluminium block and sump, fitted with counterbalanced Phoenix crankshaft and conrods with alloy pistons. Twin pressure fed SU's mounted on a fully balanced inlet manifold, dashboard mounted fuel hand pressure pump, fuel tank with quick action filler cap. This fine example of a 1931 T51 Bugatti GP car has been lovingly constructed over a 27 year period using only the best original Bugatti parts available. All the main parts are 100% period Bugatti T51, not some new made copy-cat replica. This has enabled her to earn chassis ID number BC132 with the Bugatti Owners club, a Historic technical passport, VSCC Buff book eligibility and the new FIA passport for class 13 making the car eligible for racing at all major historic and vintage race festivals, anywhere in the world.

Ettore Bugatti was as much an artist as an engineer and this is reflected in the overall finish of his work. Attention to detail is everywhere, from the fine machine turning in the engine bay to the beautifully crafted wooden handles in the cockpit. The overall finished product is as much a work of art as it is a fine racing car.
Employing a supercharged straight 8 cylinder engine now producing some 250 hp from only 2262cc, a new fresh racing gearbox and conversion to run on methanol, the car has a performance that a lot of modern day vehicles would struggle to achieve.
