1937 MG Q-Type Supercharged. |

This 1937 Q Type was the car of the English racing driver Andy King, an MG specialist renowned for preparing the XPAG engine. Imported into France in 2004, this car has a french logbook and carries chassis number TA1298.
The engine has been prepared with care. The 4 cylinder OHV push rod conformation giving this engine both reliability and performance.
The preparation includes:

An Eaton M45 supercharger, steel crankshaft, forged pistons and rods, Laystall cylinder head, limited slip diff. and a strengthened chassis.
This supercharged Q Type has raced on all the famous British circuits and several times in France at such events as 'Le Circuit d'Angoulême', 'Le Mas du Clos', Nogaro, Albi, Pau and even raced in the Tunis Grand Prix.
Mechanically revised this year.

Englebert/Michelin tyres give the car excellent road holding.

A brief reminder of the marque Mathis. Founded by Emile MATHIS and Ettore BUGATTI in 1902 under the name "Mathis & Co.". Ettore Bugatti quit this alliance in 1906 along with the key personnel responsible for the evolution of Mathis, such as Henry Ford who in 1934 founded the "Matford" with Emile Mathis.

This 1925 Mathis GM Sport has a 4 cylinder 1400cc Mathis engine developing 41hp at 3800rpm. With a 4 speed gearbox and max. speed of about 85mph. Entirely renovated between 1990 and 1996. Complete history and FIA papers included.

1926 Fiat 509 Monza Special FIA papers in progress |

This Monza Special uses a lightened but original 509 chassis. Her OHC engine is a 1 litre, and her weight (a mixture of aluminium and steel) is less than 665 kgs. An excellent power to weight ratio for the period. The competition version of the Fiat 509s ticks enough boxes to be considered one of the fastest vehicles of her era. |
Since the origins of the make, the spirit of competition has been apparent, producing for every new version Sport models for both the road and for competition. This Monza Special with her 2 offset seats, has been entirely restored in the early 80's with attention to keeping the Monza as original as possible. Since leaving the workshop she has not ceased to compete in numerous rallies and historic races. Proper servicing ensures that today this Monza is in good overall condition, a beautiful patina and fabulous details. This CGSs Amilcar have same owner since 20 years. Small renovations over the years have allowed this CGSs to remain in top condition. She is not "concours" but has the wonderful patina and feel of race cars from that golden age. On French papers.
